DISPARATE SOULS

Disparate Souls started life to showcase the songs of Andrew Hossack and Steve Griffiths. Our first EP, The Doors of the Past Remain Wide Open was released in May 2018. Stripped back, raw and emotional the EP featured just Andy on acoustic guitar and Steve on vocals. The follow up EP Love and Redemption was a more experimental affair. Released in July 2018 the EP featured some synths and more elaborate arrangements whilst still maintaining the strong lyrical and emotional content of its predecessor. For the follow up EP, the duo began expanding their sound and working with other musicians, these can be heard on the gorgeously titled, mournful EP Poetry of Reason. Acoustic melancholic songs, featuring violin, acoustic guitar, harmonica and female backing vocals.
